Great pack for a small woman
I'M 4'11". I have big problems finding packs that are comfortable for me. I carried this pack for two weeks through Guatemala, where wheeled luggage isn't a good option.The pack work excellently. I carried 26 - 36 lbs, depending on how much liquid I was packing. The shoulder straps are very easily adjustable for different height people, and the different pockets made it easy to find and store things. I particularly liked and used the handy rain cover. I never ran out of room and could have easily carried more junk...This pack is a screaming deal, which makes it even better.

TETON Sports Scout3400 Internal Frame Backpack
Why is this pack so inexpensive? I thought I was buying this because it looked like a decent pack for the price but I really didn't expect so much. Most quality packs are well over $100 and some even approach $200 for this kind of quality. I was so blown away with the quality construction and all the "extras" that I'm still a little speechless. What's the catch? I dare say this is the best experience I've ever had buying anything online and I buy quite a bit. So if you are wondering if you should buy the Scout3400 backpack by TETON Sports, take my word for it, you'll be incredibly pleased. I can't say enough about how much pack this is for the money. If 6 stars could be given, this one would get it.

I took this bag to Mt. Whitney - hiked up to Trail camp with it and back. I think that's quite a beating for a bag like that.Pros:- Cost. Probably the best deal for $52- Quite sturdy and the sleeping bag compatment helps with packing the bag even better.- Lots of pockets- Good lower back support- Strong back support buckle/clip- Quality synthetic fabric should last forever.- Compact. Keeps the load together very well.Cons:- The clips/buckles are not good quality plastic. The chest attachment slipped out of place on the very first trip. Granted, my bag was like 40 lb and I was putting it to test at that weight in that terrain, by placing a good portion of the weight on the chest but that's what these bags are supposed to do.- 3500 cu.in is good but for longer trips 4500-5500 is nicer.- Middle, upper back support is good but not as good as other bags that have a strong aluminium frame on the back...

GREAT BAG!!!!!!
I needed a bag to use when riding my motorcycle. This bag was just what I was looking for. The refelcetive strip and the orange color add to the safety so motorist can see me. Also I am in the Army and on my post it is required for motorcyle riders to have a refelctive belt on the bag when riding. This in turn removed the need for me to have to use the belt with the reflective strip on it. Not to mention this bag is the perfect size and has many pockets. Great bag!!!!!!

Great backpack at super affordable price!
I purchased this backpack to use for hiking and my outdoor activities. The fabric is very durable and I appreciated all of the pockets for my stuff. The padded shoulder straps were put to the test and really came through; I was able to walk comfortably for hours and enjoy my leisure time. My teenager got his hands on it and tried it out, and really liked it. The price is so affordable I will be able to get one for him too. Love the color selection. Good vendor, good quality, great service...a keeper!

Got Two
These bags are well-made and the colors are awesome. The zipper is really well made and this is not cheaply made.My son is rough with his backpacks and he swings his all over the place and I know he has thrown it a few times...The bag is as nice from when I brought it for him. Very Nice!!My daughter got the Purple bag and she loves it. I had to buy it as a replacement from a cheap backpack that fell apart in 4 days.I hope they last thoughout the year.

Osprey Daylite Pack
This is a very nice pack. It is one of my favorite bags! I have had mine for about 4 yrs now and it is holding up great! The only "damage" that it has is where the water bottles are, some of the mesh broke apart, but not to where the bottle doesn't hold, just one or two small stitches, probably from me bouldering, and rubbing against rocks.(and some scuff marks, easy to clean dirt off bag.) Other than that, this bag is able to fit a ton in it and is super light! It also doesn't puff out, so even though it is packed tight it doesn't look it, and that is best when hiking or climbing and need to squeeze through some spaces. On normal day hikes I am able to pack the following into it: (It takes a little practice to fit the items in correctly to where there isn't a lump forming on the back of the bag, so that it sits flat on your back for when you secure it with the waist and chest strap) I have a thin long sleeved shirt, a medium sized first aid kit. Does what it's supposed to.
This backpack is very lightweight, it seems to be well constructed, and it looks great, I use it for school and I can fit a few books in it just fine, the back has a compartment to fit a hydration pack, I use this area to store my 13" laptop there as it's very well padded and easy to access, overall, I like this backpack.

Good Mountain Biking Pack
The Osprey Daylite pack is a nice 750 cu.in. pack perfect for mountain biking. It's a good size for some snacks, spare parts, rain jacket, etc. I really like the external hydration sleeve. Other manufactures require one to go through the hassle of opening one's pack to access the bladder, removing the hose through a too small slot in the packbag, and then putting a potentially wet bladder back into the packbag. Osprey demonstrates that a 3 liter bladder fits nicely between the pack bag and the padded back panel, which allows one to easily remove and replace the bladder hassle free. After my experience with this little Daylite, I'd love to replace my adventure racing pack with something like an Osprey Talon 35.The only thing "wrong" with this pack is that the lightweight mesh straps (which are really plenty substantial for the pack and its probably contents) often get twisted and rolled as one attempts to put it on. Other that, the Osprey Daylite is a sweet little pack.

Best purchase all year
I purchased this pack online after researching many brands. The price ultimately sold me on this particular back pack and I am SO glad I went with this one! I was kinda expecting a pack that looked "cheaper" than the others because it was so much less. (The other one I was debating upon was $170) Also, the previous reviews made me nervous about how it would fit but they either had big problems figuring out the straps or just never wore a back pack before because I had NO problem with this. I am over 6 feet tall and on the large size for a woman so I usually have issues with things fitting my body size. I have a long torso and this pack actually fits me the way it is supposed to! I also have a chest larger than Pamela Anderson's and I have no problem buckling the chest strap :o) I don't know why the other person had such a problem because I still have room to tighten it as it doesn't even go over my chest but above it. Just what I had hoped.
This was just what I had hoped it would be. It's smaller than a school backpack and is great for hiking and biking for my kids (6, 8 and 10 years old). They all love it and find it comfortable. The straps are nicely padded. The zipper pulls make it really easy to open and close. It's just a great multi-purpose bag. We'll be using it to go on road trip as well. (I should mention that it's probably not big enough for school folders, etc so I wouldn't purchase it as a school backpack)

Great Pack Loaded with features!
I can't believe the price on this awesome pack. Plenty of pockets for easy stowing and room for everything you need for a day trip. The zippers are smooth with good quality handles to grab. I was scrambling all over rocks and the straps kept everything nice and secure.I love the colors. Love the fabric. Love everything about this pack. You can pay more and get less all over the place.I have packs from Camelback, Osprey, Northface, and some other that I can't think of and they still don't outshine this one.I'm glad to add this to the line up and plan many more trips with it. Perfect size for me as some other day packs are too small. But I'm 6'6" and one sweater is huge and takes a lot of room. This pack was perfect for me.Enjoy!

Almost perfect
The pack is great and everything is well made. But the only issue I had was this pack was way smaller than I thought; it's about a little smaller than an adult backpack used for school. But base on the description that was given, everything is as written. So if your looking for something a little larger this is not for you. But I gotta say, it does look good (stylish). But I return the item just because it wasn't the right size I needed.
